Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Plano, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing, analyzing, reviewing, and rewriting programs using Python and Java. The role involves designing web applications using Java Enterprise Application Servers, developing procedures and functions for ETL from various data sources, and defining and evaluating system performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
● Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs using Python and Java.
● Design web applications using Java Enterprise Application Servers.
● Develop procedures and functions for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) from various data sources using Java.
● Define and evaluate system performance standards.
● Design and implement testing procedures to ensure system quality.
● Prepare business process flow charts to outline system operations.
● Draft PL/SQL scripts for database operations.
● Consult with clients to understand business needs and requirements.
● Draft technical documentation for systems and applications.
● Work closely with business analysts and programmers to determine project limitations and capabilities.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree with a major in Management Information Systems or a related field.
● Strong proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
● Experience with Java Enterprise Application Servers.
● Knowledge of ETL procedures and functions.
● Familiarity with system performance evaluation standards.
● Experience in designing testing procedures and preparing business process flow charts.
● Proficiency in drafting PL/SQL scripts.
● Strong consulting skills to understand and translate client business needs.
● Ability to draft comprehensive technical documentation.
● Excellent collaboration skills to work with business analysts and programmers.
