Overview
About Digital Transformation
Digital transformation works when it is done in steps the business can absorb. Desmata guides the change from first assessment to everyday use. We focus on the processes and customer journeys where better tools remove the most manual work.
We start by documenting how work really flows, including the spreadsheets and email chains. Then we choose the platforms, integrations and automation that fit, and sequence them so each step pays for itself.
Technology is half the change. We plan training, communication and support for the people who will use it, and we measure results against KPIs agreed at the start.

Approach
How an engagement runs
Step 1: Assess
We map current systems, processes and pain points with the people who use them, and capture baseline numbers.
Step 2: Plan
We choose the changes with the greatest effect and sequence them into a roadmap with costs and owners.
Step 3: Implement in stages
Each stage goes live in a controlled group first, so daily operations continue and lessons carry forward.
Step 4: Train
We build and deliver training with the teams that will use the new tools, and set up support channels.
Step 5: Measure and refine
We compare results with the baseline and adjust the roadmap using what we learn.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Where should a digital transformation start?
Start with an assessment of one value stream, such as order to cash or quote to policy, and measure how long it takes and where work is repeated. That gives you a baseline and a short list of fixes you can prove.
How do you avoid disrupting day-to-day operations?
We introduce changes in stages, starting with a pilot group, and keep the existing process available until the new one has proved itself. Training happens before each stage goes live.
Do you replace our existing systems?
Only where it makes sense. Often the better path is to integrate and extend what you already own, and replace the pieces that block progress.
How do you measure whether it worked?
We agree measures at the start, such as cycle time, manual hours, conversion or customer satisfaction. We report against those baselines after each stage.
